Abalone Guest House offers you one of the finest accommodation experiences in Jacobsbaai for both corporate and leisure guests. Our rooms have all the luxuries you need, where you can relax and feel comfortable - your home away from home. Abalone is the perfect place to stay for your whole family.
All our rooms have stunning unspoilt sea views, with the most beautiful breathtaking sunsets. The rooms are stylishly decorated, each with a separate double door leading to a sea view stoep.
Accommodation is available as Bed and Breakfast or Selfcatering. Each room has an en-suite bathroom, coffee making facilities, a bar fridge, microwave oven and a flatscreen TV available with DSTV (guesthouse package - including the sport and film channels). We have 5 rooms and 1 apartment available.
Kreef (sleeps 2-4)

- A two room unit. One private room with a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom with a walk-inn shower. It has stunning unspoilt seaviews and is walking distance to the beach.
- It has a flatscreen TV with DSTV (Guesthouse package).
- Another small room is available with a bunker bed with a seperate toilet and wash-basin. Perfect for a family with 2 children under the age of 13.
- This unit is fitted with a small equipped kitchen and has a private stoep with a built-in outdoor braai overlooking the sea.
- Kreef is also perfect for the couple that wants privacy, seperate from the main guest house.
Elf (sleeps 2)

Elf has two single beds with an en-suite bathroom with a shower. It has stunning unspoilt seaviews and is walking distance to the beach. It has a flatscreen TV with DSTV (Guesthouse package). This room is perfect for people wishing to share or someone single. We can also make a king size bed.
Mossel (sleeps 2)

Mossel has a queen size bed with an en-suite bathroom with a shower. It has stunning unspoilt seaviews and is walking distance to the beach. It has a flatscreen TV with DSTV (Guesthouse package).
Snoek (sleeps 2)

Perlemoen (sleeps 4)

Perlemoen is fitted with:
- a fully equipped open plan kitchen.
- a open plan loft bedroom with a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom (bath only).
- the main bedroom has a flatscreen TV with DSTV (Guesthouse package).
- another small room with a single bed.
- a seperate toilet and wash-basin.
- the lounge has a pull out couch that can be made into a three quater bed.
- a lounge with an inside fireplace/braai.
- the lounge has a flatscreen TV with DSTV (Guesthouse package).
- a private outside stoep with an outside braai overlooking the sea.
- stunning unspoilt seaviews and walking distance to the beach.
- Bokkom functions as a attached second private bedroom with a double bed and full en-suite bathroom. (Only when available).
Breakfast and Dinner
- A full English Breakfast is included in the Bed and Breakfast bookings.
- Dinner is available at prior arrangement, only for our Abalone guests.
Additional Features
- We have a lounge available for in-house guests with a cosy fireplace for the cold West Coast winters where you can relax, read a book and enjoy the view.
- An outdoor built-in braai and outside stoep overlooking the sea.
- We supply one crate of firewood. More wood can be arranged at a cost per crate from the Guesthouse.
- If you wish to braai, we do provide cutlery and crockery. Braai grids and tools are available.
- Satellite TV (DSTV - Guesthouse package).
